The navigation menu
You will find a navigation menu in the left-hand panel of each page. Some topics have a sign next to them, which indicates that there are other options within the main topic to choose from. If you click on the sign, the list of sub-topics will appear (some of which may also have a sign by them, offering further choice).

The "more information" Image
Sometimes one or more of these images will appear onscreen. If you click on the image , a popup window will appear giving more information about the subject directly next to the image. When you finish reviewing this information, simply close the window and you will return to the screen where you clicked on the image.

FoodIMS™ screens with tabs
Some of the demonstration screens in the FoodIMS™ website have tabs along the top. Clicking on a blue tab will take you to a new screen, as indicated on the tab. In the actual FoodIMS™ application, tabs that are "active" appear without blue, and those that are "inactive" are greyed out, such as the "Recipe" tab for a food item that doesn't have a recipe.
